The leaf is long-petioled, about 7 to 10 cm in length. It has a heart-shaped or egg-shaped form and is shallowly three- to five-lobed. The margin is serrated or toothed, featuring palmate venation. Both the petiole and the leaf blade are gray-green on both sides and covered with a silky tomentose layer. Sometimes fragments of flowers or unripe fruits may be present on the leaf.
